ThE PuRpLe PeOpLe EaTeR!!
hey guys
i just joined up to the site today and i thought i'd introduce you to my little buggy!! 
She's a 1973 Model..with not much work done as yet! Just the paint, rims (yes they're matching) and there's a cd player etc in there too!!
Future plans include a EJ 22 conversion, slammed on her bum...with some bling wheels...and a nice new paint job..still trying to figure out the color
i want though!! so as u can see this is going to be a long process as money is how its gotta start...and atm i'm lacking in that department!! :P
but here she is i hope you like it...please post up comments etc.

Plenty of people on here have experience in these sorts of conversions, so you'll find plenty of information on here when you start searching. Ask
lots of questions too....that's the easiest way to get the info you're after.

thanks for the heads up...my parents live @ Stafford...and i usually take 'Miss Purple' down to the boys at Custom Off Road when she breaks!!
So i'm hoping that they can do the conversion becuase they're work is always top quality and they're great ppl!! :thumb

None with the Manx.You might shred some rear tyres on a beetle though!!! The Kombi slips sideways in 2nd no problems with standard wheels so a bug

I dont think she's harry's standards at the moment...
The accelarator cable snapped last night so she's gotta go in and get fixed...and the dude from RACQ that towed us smashed my rear bar and bent the
body a bit...wen taking it off the truck (that wouldnt of happened if he listened to me :cussing ) but wat can u do!!
i didnt think that there were many dubs that went to Harry's on a Friday night???

im there most friday nights - it dont matter what condition the bugs in - looks nice to me 
we havnt had a big doo at harry's for ages - last one i can remember was close to 2yr ago haha

I had a towtruck dude that didn't believe my Bug was very low when he was getting it on the truck once after a break down... then my exhaust scraped
and I said he can fix it if he stuffs it up more, so he backed it off and put wooden planks down that they keep on the truck anyway. :P
Remember that for next time, not that we want you to have a towie again...

prob like 3wks ago we took the exhaust tips off coz they were too long...so we were going to shorten them and weld them back on...we just havent had
time lately so lucky for that other wise he would of completely totalled my back end!!
tow trucks suck!! they always seem to damage ppls cars hey!!
