Shift plate troubles - move this way
I down loaded the CSP product page for the shifter i bought and it has this bit of helpful info
1st & 2nd wont engage - move shifter base to right
1st & 3rd wont engage - move shifter base to the front
2nd & 4th wont engage - move shifter base to the rear
reverse gear can be engaged with out pushing/pulling the lock out - move shifter plate to the left
Wish i had seen this before

i went thro all that crap when i put my quick shift kit in
but when u think about the way it works its not hard to work all that out as its just pivoting on the ball so its the opposite direct to the gear
position
but yes very helpful anywayz

LOL I went through hell with my super trying to stop it going into reverse after fitting the bugpack one. No luck, then I tried it in my Type3. Still
no blasted luck, at least it wasn't expensive. Perhaps the plastic ones are a little different
