Rebuilt SSP box-just picked it up!

Just picked up my rebuilt ssp box from Steve Natoli.
After spitting 2nd months ago and tearing the car to pieces rebuilding all these things I had been meaning to do, I now have my box back and lots of stuff not finished including new paint.

Anyway box has Albins mainshaft 1st and 2nd and aftermarket welded 3rd and 4th with a super diff.
First as super tall(3.0), second is a bit taller(2.0) and third and 4th stock ratios....

Cannot wait!!!!!!

If anyone needs a box doing, young steve is doing alot of work from home, ill put up his number.

Got a well known rexy engine builder here who will pull down, inspect and rebuild my 2002 wrx motor with forged pistons, acl bearings for $1600. The 2002 has the best cams as it was the last of the non variable motors...I will then throw a 70hp NOS kit on it.. The motor should have 200++ kw at the wheels anyway.

The box ..albins mainshaft $680, then $325 for each gear(3rd and 4th)...So say $1500 for gears, then whatever for a superdiff, bearings and syncros and assembly.

I had my box with the diff, 3rd and 4th...steve pulled it down, had a few things rebushed and machined and the new mainshaft put in and I paid him $1000.

Hi Matt,
I can understand that you want to get your car back on the street with the new gear box, it is just the same for me! I have to wait for the spring.

You like the picture of Roper and Williams?
Got it on a t-shirt with "Bullshit Mr Han Man" printed on it. Been training for years, muay thai, BJJ(grappling) and a bit of kung fu.

Paul(1303) loves going in my car.... had a run with an rs6 audi wagon yesterday(460bhp). Yet another person left perplexed as to what just happened in their seemingly unbeatable $200k+ car!

just a tip dude, if you ever meet matt, make friends with him. he's one of the biggest boys I've ever met...and I don't mean fat, I mean BIG. That said, he's kind of impossible not to befriend bring so approachable and talkative.

Matt, Must be about time I came up for a scare. Is it peak season at the mo, or are you workshop regularly?

I couldnt do it...I would feel so bad, you do not get angry at some people, you just feel sorry for them. It sort of goes against the grain of my job as well.

The gear ratios of first and second are great...it pulls as hard in third as it does in first. I have it out again at the moment as I am changing the rear mounting system to a harder one...
I gave it a pretty hard time in second and it feels strong.
