syncro owners!! look here.
looking at the article in VWA mag i was impressed to see a syncro meet over east, could we get together in each state to have a "treffen"
lets start with a nod n a wink and a shout as to where we all are.

Yeh i got one but it almost running too many kids and work commitments not enough time to get it on the road. BUGGER
Keep the steering and the propulsion seperate . Still a Kombi...
It's all good, until it's bad, i suppose

I have a Syncro, just started restoring it, it has been sitting for 2 years on a farm, I scraped a wheel barrow full of dirt from under it, then
pressure cleaned the rest, now I can see what I am doing.
It is an ex telstra van, mechanicaly quiet good, engine just needed an exhaust, coolant flush and full service. haven't checked gear oil yet, body
has a couple of bits of rust where those nice heavy duty roof racks were, has a dent in the sliding door and rear 1/4, I have replaced the door with a
panel van door, so it is now a window less panel van. needs a respray, bit of inside work, and thats all.

I wasn't in the right place at the right time for this one,
The guy I bought it off noticed it parked at a local repairer and asked the owner "whats with the Syncro" the guy said, "you want it $150.00 and
it's yours" he couldn't get his money out quick enough!!
Apparently the owner didn't want to pay for a new starter motor to be fitted, The thing has 4 near new BF Goodrich off road tyres too.
I still have all my T3's, I have 7 here at the moment.
