VWFOOL... '56 Oval Beetle [latest pics]

heres a pic of my Oval with the mesh visor i just found on an old bug at a wreckers yard.
i also scored off the wreck a rain/wind deflector for my driver's side window, some gravel guards and a set of almost perfect towel rail bumper
bars tha will replace my blades with overiders.
more pics to follow...

Don't listen to them Sammy.. ACCESSORIZE ON LITTLE FELLA!!!

Sounds good mate. Look, accessories suit some cars but not all. The hardest part is.. Figuring out if you are in the 'some cars' basket or
the 'not all' basket.. |

just a little update

after having my front tyres slashed i replaced all four tyres about 2 weeks ago. im happy to say hardly anymore scrubbing in the rear guards now, car
feels so much better to drive its incredible the difference, wish i did it ages ago.
tomorrow i am fitting my new engine and a new gearbox.
have had all the tin coated gloss black.
i am really looking forward to driving my "new" car after tomorrow.
i will post some more pics with the engine in etc.

Lookin good Fool man!
I like the visor, just clean it and give it a shine, then give it a coat of that clear stuff and it will look new all the time, the wheels look
good, the whole things comming along nice!

Keep the visor for a while

I'm all for changing the look of your car from time to time and it does look good.

Hell I've even got a steel visor for my Oval I can one day fit. It's painted polar silver and the holes for mounting it were drilled before
the car was painted.

Good stuff Sam.
