are Oval wipers different to 60's?


i bought some wipers to replace the ones that flew off on the way to Nationals and they seem to not fit right and hit the windscreen rubber and make marks on it. i noticed some wiper blads r bigger than others?
can someone let me know

Yep there different. Hard to find as well.

the arms are handed left n right, in order to fit the screen correctly

or should i just take a saw to the bigger 60s ones and cut them to size?

Yes that may be the better method for obtaining some
as dont know where Origional ones would be nowdays.

Yes, the Oval's have a shorter blade...
as their windscreen is smaller...
Most of the ones I have seen have been chopped off...
