John,
Looks good!!!
Seems like you did this panel very quickly after you finished the engine lid..
How long did it take you?
What's next on the body parts making agenda?
Regards,
Steve

To make the panels doesn't take too long , what was very long was the preparation and documentation. That was probably 3 - 4 months of solid work.Looking at the finished part this part of work is not visible...Not to say that relatively high level of technology and skill is involved.
Now I'm about to finish internal guads and fuel tank surround.

Wow
excellent work

sounds like a few more Country buggies will be on the road again....

I wonder what happened to the original presses?
or were the parts made from scratch....
like you have done ??

Lee

The is from Bill Moore's The Australian Country Buggy Story, http://members.netro.com.au/~vwcc/cb.htm

"No specific reasons were stated for this decision but as Volkswagen was getting out of manufacturing vehicles, had sold off presses, closed the press shop and disposed of tooling and equipment there was no likelihood that Country Buggy production could continue. With all body panels for the Country Buggy pressed at Clayton and the press shop closed by the end of 1968, there was no alternative than for production of the Country Buggy to cease."

I can't see your images.
There are apparently still some bugs with the new software Adrew was working on.

"They're down everywhere. The problem is that PHP is now inserting a newline between the headers and the start of the image. I can't seem to make it not do this. It's now nearly 3 am, and I can't see the screen any more. So I'm going to get a few hours sleep and see if I can nut it out tomorrow.

Sorry to leave you in the lurch like this folks, but it will work - I just have to find the ONE single call that is causing this issue and kill it.

1. Fix Images
2. Re-install themes
3. Undefined variable (see above)
4. forum -> forums .htaccess

Andrew"
