The VWRX one works a charm - it's what I've been using to test my system's working ok.
You might have to tweak the .INI files to suit (it's also where you set °F or °C, mph or kph etc)

It'll happily run on a gash old 486 laptop. Nice to see the graphics working.

I do get an error of approx 25% too low on the vehicle speed for some reason.
Subaru uses a 4 pulse @ 5V per wheel rev VSS, so does mine.
The difference in rolling circumference is approx 5% between Impreza and VW bus.
*shrugs* better to be under reading as it switches the fan in earlier as opposed to later.

sweet, I'm going to solder up the interface this weekend. You don't know if the source code is available do you? I'm sure we (,e and some mates) could turn this into a motec dash panel :)

I/F board didn't take long. (if anyone doesn't fancy making one they should be easy enough to buy "TTL to RS232 interface"

If you still have your old Scooby loom offcuts you'll prolly find a connector that fits. I think it's on the headlight cct loom bit :thumb

Ask the guys on VWRX about the code.
As I said mine's just running on an old laptop (so old it's almost aircooled ;) )

Nah - that's not old - I've still got my original DEC Rainbow in the basement - paid $15k NZ for it in 1984.

Back on topic - how to get something like this happening for an EA82T?

No.

Besides early ECUs (pre 2000 IIRC in UK) aren't tweakable
