Sorry its for a T3 squareback 71 to be exact.
Also what size tyres would be best? bearing in mind it will be lowered.
Cheers Nige

From experience, I ran 135 Mich's up front and 195x60's Bridgestones RE71's rear with white walls on my Fasty (that was lowered). It was light at the front with not all that much more then your average understeer but the rear hung like a m/f. And......... not only being illegal, fitting an oversized tyre on a standard rim, but the Atlas whitewall fit so tight that it wore into the side of the tyre. Another 3,000km's and I would have seen air! Up front was a case of the other etreme, being so skinny, it hung a 1/4 of an inch off the tyre (not really a good look up close). What I would recomend is a happy medium!
I do have pic's, but need to scan them first.

Hope this helps.

On my beetle with std rims i gave up looking for decent rubber, you need to find a popular size to get good choice like 185-65-15 but then you need 5-6 inch rims so your stuffed, but then your speedo is out so your stuffed again, have to go now im starting to feel depressed.:(
