Bonnet Problem


Can someone in the know have a look at this picture and work out if the bonnet fitted is the wrong type or that it is just badly fitted?

Any help is appriecated :cool:

looks like the bonnet isnt catched down properly,it does have a push button to open???

Hi,
You can adjust the locking pin up and down...
loosen the nut on the other end of the locking pin..
and move the pin assembly upwards...
this will in turn bring the bonnet DOWN...

If You do this and the bonnet is still Open at the sides..
You can screw the locking Pin IN...
after loosening the locking nut again...

but be careful when adjusting the pin -

if you go too far it may be difficult to open the boot...

usually if the boot won't open, then have someone pressing the bonnet catch button and pulling the bonnet open, while you pull the catch in the glovebox...
