Just got a New Beetle
Hey guys and Gals.
Jess and i have just picked up a 2000 new beetle as jess's new daily driver.
We just wanted to know if there was any common probs with the Y2K bugs we should keep an eye out for.

Looks like the RS4 bug off GT4(Playstation)
Keep the steering and the propulsion seperate . Still a Kombi...

Yeah not much will change in regards to the way it looks. Jess is rapped with the way it looks so no changes are on the cards just yet.

Dont wind the windows down if they are electric.....the window regulators have plastic slides that break and leave you with the glass at the bottom of
the door. Its the same problem as the Golf 4's and Audi's of the same era...

there is a window regulator upgrade that came out after 2003. our cabrio had the problem of banging at the end of travel at the bottom and also not
dropping to clear the roof when we opened the doors. had the regulators replaced with the newer versions and have not had trouble since.

i hunted this baby down for ages
i guess thats what u get when u deal with carsales people
who speak shit when then dont know anything about the cars there selling which this guy didnt.
theres nothing i want to change for now..only a better sterio system lol
but other then that i love it.

Still the hottest hard top NB there is. 
But yeah...Trace wins in the cabrio's hands down ... well for me at least
But until they come in pink...I'm not getting one

Hey Bern.
Naa, still no more dubs for me. This is for jess. Its all her hard work to get it. I am happy to just play with other peoples dubs when they need help
now.
But yes, it is a really nice car to drive and has looks to boot. Have to say they i don't mind getting in her and taking it for a drive
