Ruby Red 1963 beetle...Now For Sale/Swap

Update - Sad news, the beetle needs to go to fund the purchase of a 4wd and/or restoration of my Triumph Spitfire.

Seems I have too many cars and no space. Looking for around $6800 to cover my costs (purchase and all the new bits)

Will swap for either a Gen3 Subaru Outback or Land/Range Rover on LPG.

Thought I would post a couple of pictures for you interest of my latest beetle. It was aquired early this year finally returned to the road in May..

As aquired it was pretty good body wise but required new tyres, brakes, interior, steering and other sundry items...
Drove up to Horsham via Halls Gap to pick the car up with a mate in his 63

Pictured here are the 2 red '63s in Castlemaine on the day it was picked up and on the way back home to Woodend complete with unrego permit in the window...

Car lived in Melb around Bayswater for most of its life then moved off to Horsham, if you have been around Woodend/Romsey/Kyneton way the car has been out and about quite a bit on weekends...

Jusr about to get even nicer with new square weave carpets, retrimed front seats and replacement headlining. Only problem is what colour to do the carpet, OG beige or charcoal grey to match the interior...

Sorry for the late reply, getting done at Tylden Trim in woodend. Also managed to find a ribbed headlining material very close to the original for 60s beetles...
