T3 Caravelle Buzzer
Hi All,
I was wondering if someone out there can help?
I have a T3 Caravelle which has a buzzer located in the dash that goes off when I am slowing down, the oil light also flashes. To stop the buzzer I
either have to speed up or slow down further, and put my foot on the clutch and pump the accelerator a couple of times.
I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks |

There are 2 switches, one between the pushrod tubes on no3 & 4 cylinders and 1 below the crank pulley near the water pump,we usually replace both
as they are a bugger to get to. regard Les

syncropro - Sorry, should have mentioned the oil level was ok.
Bizarre - Thanks for the site, it's a good one.
grumble - Thanks for the tip. Changed the switch near the pushrod tubes on no3 & 4 cylinders as it was an after market one. The buzzer is a lot
better, but still goes off at a lower speed. I'll change the other one and check the wiring as they suggest in a post from the link Bizarre gave me. |
