Converting High Back Seats to Low Back
I am having trouble finding Low back seats. I recall seeing a thread or tutorial on how to convert high backs to low backs by removing the welded on
head rest frame. I cant remember where I found the thread. Can any one point me to it ? I just want to be sure the result is worth the effort.

Wayne. If you only want the back part, I have a set here (if early 60's are the same) but want to keep the lower section for a modification. Send

Thanks for the offer, unfortunately I need a complete set of seats, as my bases have been modified to mount jap import seats.
I figured I might be able to modify some high backs, as they seem easier to source. I didnt think it would be this hard to source a set of 1500 beetle
seats.
