in dash speakers

Hi all,

Has anyone successfully mounted tweater speakers behind the dash (where the orginal speaker is) and had a good result?

Cheers,

I'd say the metal grill bits are going to have an effect here as treble is VERY directional and anything between it and your ears is going to change what you hear from them a lot.

I just mounted mine on my L bug with some blutack. I added some ink to them to make it black and they worked fine. I could also easliy move them when I felt like it. You might be better off mounting them upside down on the bottom of the dash and facing them up towards you.
