Alternator help

I have a Bosch Brasillera (9120080122 K1, 14V 23/51 Amps) alternator and i want to know how to test if its charging.
It has three wires, a B+ terminal - which i gather is the main power as it has a big heavy wire on it, a D+ terminal as well as a third wire.
Also - does anyone have a wiring diagram for the generator to the battery?
TIA
