Type 3 Wagon Question

Anyone know if pop outs on a Type 3 Wagon are rare or did they all have them ?
Also what makes them so damn heavy ? 1110 KG is one hell of a lot for a car that small , any ideas ???

Pop Outs came in all the early models and not so much in the say 69 or or so.

YES there heavy it takes 6 guys to lift a Wagon body onto a floor pan against only 4 with a Beetle.

Must be all the extra internal panels.

I will be lifting one and changeing a fllor pan in a few weeks.
