mc pherson strut set ups
I'm curious as to how you '02 '03 guys set up you front suspension?
There seems to be tonnes of info out there on torsion bar set ups but nothing really on struts.
Are you all running V Force of Topline struts, or have you found a cost effective DIY set up that works well.

But you can only use stock width
If you want big rubber you need thin springs
You can use hour glass springs with the above method but by this time you mas as well use V Force struts
Futue te ipsum!!!

I made my own custom setup fairly cheaply years back when i was still running 2 bolt front end
i found some tein coilovers second hand and just fitted Lbug upper bearing assemblies
bottom bolted up to the spindle no probs
i did check the part numbers from memory they were from a honda but after i converted to 3 bolt a mate got me at weak moment and i sold them
they rode well and cleared 18" rims no problems
but as barry said these days better off just getting some of richards struts

I run king springs and Koni's. Can't run wide rubber through.
I have been looking and weiging up options (V-force, SBO, MCA/DMS) and also Koni make a coil over conversion kit. Its a threaded sleeve that goes over
the strut housing and is welded or clipped in place and runs the thing spings. Jsut need a new top bearing/mount and your away.
Though it looks like I may be going over seas for a while so car plans are on hold for a few monhts.....
I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!
Go hard or go home!!!!
