lol....
i've actually lowered my oval today but my tyres 165/80 r15 are rubbing on the guards....anyone know of a brand that will fit on my stock rims...something around165/55 should do or even lower.

You could try a 145/65 Continental they will fit on stock rims and are really low profile, should be perfect for what your after, Priced them yesturday $146 each.

sounds good....but the only problem i just realised that my rims (one of them anyway) can't be run without tubes has it has a crack....maybe a good excuse to get chromies... confused

Crikey! Some of you guys oughta have a drive around Kalgoorlie/Boulder some time - I sometimes worry about my (rather high clearance) 4WD bottoming out!

I like the look of a lowered car. It can lower the centre of gravity (already bloody good in a VW) and, to a point, decrease wind resistance (when you get really low, turbulence can be a problem.) But I'm currently negotiating with the authorities to _raise_ my car.

I believe cars should be driven, bikes should be ridden (not hung in pubs - especially old British bikes,) and women should be loved.



If it's wet: drink it.
If it's dry: smoke it.
If it moves: bonk it.
If it don't: kick it.

...the roadie's creed.


(you could add:

if it's got a big engine: drive it.
if it's got a small engine: ride it.
if it don't move: work it!)

i've noticed one thing in all the cars that still have stock rims or looking stock anyway the back rims are deep dished does anyone know how to do that or where to get them from?????
