KG we built 30 years back

Those rear guards were a headache, for any older members, you's might remember this making an appearance at Day Of the Volkswagen in the eighties, we won peoples choice. It got sold to a young chap who repainted it and changed a few things and then starting showing it and it made front page of a magazine & centre spread.

A very beautiful car:yes:
Can you remember what was done to the engine?
Was it kept stock or did you do some work on it?

Cheers:tu:

Hi and thanks, (wish i still had it now)!! the motor was pretty much stock except for a cam, 88 mm jugs, hollley bug spray carb, 009 dissy, alluminium off set fan housing with external oil cooler mounted in front of fan intake, extended sump and a high volume oil pump, later on , the sump got removed as ground clearance became an issue, thanks for the interest cheers Frank

What ever ya on , I want a kilo !! some ones got hold of a 930 rsr kit & grafted it to the KG, I like the front guards & lights, need to piss the front bumper off, dont know what to make of the rear flares, looks too plastic, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say.
