rocker cover gaskets for early DOHC EJ25?

where would I get em?

I'm sick of the leaks. Had a mechanic look at them a few weeks back and his struggle is getting the right set. Apparently subaru want a chassis number.... which I don't have.

And no, silastic doesn't work.

Hi

I must have been lucky when I rang the Subaru parts place, I told the guy that I was fitting an STI motor in a Beetle, he was very interested so he back traced the engine number to the correct VIN for me.

Hi

The one at Bankstown, but I think they moved, they used to be near Westis shop. The other thing you could is find a Subaru with the same style motor and use that VIN.

Pete, it doesn't matter that yours is an imported model, it is the same as the ej25 that came out in the 98 Liberty here. Try ringing spare parts at Parramatta Subaru.

Phone : (02) 8892 9889

Otherwise, contact Daniel who works at Parramatta Subaru and get him to find out from the parts guy.

Pete if you don't have any luck with Subaru, go and see my good mates at All Drive Subaroo in Penshurst. These guys know everything there is to know about Subarus and carry so many spare parts you'll think you're in Aladdin's cave. Take your buggy there and they will sort you out ASAP.
