Only way you'll get one in is as a personal import as they are all 89+. The Corrado is on the SEVS register but it'll cost about $40k to get one
complianced. I only know of 2 in Australia!
You have to live outside Australia and own the car for more than 12 months to qualify for a personal import!
Lovely cars though
Cheers

It is quite shit I agree. I've never seen either of the two in Oz, but have always coveted them.

I've heard that there were two in Adelaide which were both imported personally from the UK by their owners back when the cars were nearly new. They
bought the cars new in the UK and brought them over when they emigrated. That's the rumour I heard, anyway.

You probably already know this, but the Corrado was never sold in Australia. In fact, the Scirocco has never been sold in Australia either. So any you
see are all private imports.
Mark Hammond brought his VR6 Corrado to this years' VW Nationals in Sydney. Beautiful car! I believe he was interested in selling it; unfortunately i
don't have his contact details but someone here might.
You could also try ringing Matt at Camden GTI in Sydney - his Mk2 Scirocco is in the latest issue of VWMA. If there are any Corrados coming up for
sale, he will know about them. 0423 051 737 http://www.camdengti.com.au/
