Brake Lines

I need to make up some brake lines and am wondering what part sizes are for a 1970 type 3;

• Is the brake like a 3/16"

• What sizes are the couplings for male and female connectors?

Just my suggestion, if you can buy a complete kit as I did for my Beetle it is a lot less trouble and pre-made to length etc.

Other than that, I cant help you with sizes sorry.

The reason I ask is because I'm adding a brake proportioning valve and need a few chops and some extra for a brake kit

I'm pretty sure there was no need for a proportioning valve.
