Deleting EJ20K IACV with block off plate ???

I was hoping to get some info about using a block off plate for my idle air control valve since I will be running Microtech standalone.
Does this sound like a problem to you guys ??
Thanks for the help

Not really sure if this helps but when I bought my car (from a mechanic) it had a plate over it he was planning to run wolf v4 ecu. But my mechanic has put it back on now for a smoother idle running factory ecu. He said I didn't really need it. But I went for the smoother option. So I'd say its possible, I'm no expert but I thought it might help (for now) I'm sure someone else is and can help you out further.
