Fuel Starvation Issue - 1302
Symptoms:
I can drive the car for 20mins to 1/2 hour then if I have to stop & start i.e. traffic lights the car will stall. The motor turns over fine but
doesn't fire. If I have a little bit of fuel & feed it to the carb the car starts fine and away I go again. What could be the cause?
Cheers
Troy

My guess is some how the fuel is leaving the bowl
I would start with changing the pump
A cheap and easy check that wont break the bank

Hi
Check to see if there any inline filters and on a 1302 there is also cleanable filter screen in the tank, have look underneath car for allen key
plug.

New fuel pump seems to have solved the problem.
