Doing a 12volt conversion

Ok, I haven't done one of these for about 5 years, so refresh my memory, what do I need to do?

I am replacing my 36hp with a 12volt 1600, so the generator/regulator is sorted.
I know I have to replace all the globes in my car, what about fuses?
As far as wipers go, I will need a 12v-6v convertor, right?
Starter motor, should I leave it 6volt? the flywheel on the new motor is a 6volt one.

Is there anything else I have forgotten?
Any tips?

Ooh, suits you sir!

Starter motor is OK, it will run faster so the car will start quicker. However, eventaully it will eat into the ring gear. Yes, you will need a 12v to 6v for the wipers. What about your radio/accessories? You will need to replace the relayes as well, wouldn't you? Horn?

Ahh I forgot about the relays and horn. I'll be picking up some bits and pieces later in the week for the conversion, I just want to make sure I have everything I need to do it all in one go.

Ooh, suits you sir!
