Z bar AND camber compensator

Is it possible to install a camber compensator on a late model swing axle with a factory Z bar?

What (if any) benefits would there be?

Hi

The factory Z bar is really only a load compensator, they allowed the car to run softer torsion bars but when loaded up they stopped the suspension from going to low.

A camber compensator wont be affected by the Z bar and will improve handling.

You don't need to replace the Z bar - that will only add more weight. If the comp. spring is designed and fitted correctly, and the torsion bars are adjusted to allow the comp, spring to do it's job, then you're in business.:tu:

Most of them got removed ages ago as the rubbers wore out and were not reproduced.

I ripped a few off my 70s 1300 bugs for that reason, the rubbers are being repooped now but even when all is working well they don't make that much of a difference.
