Ahh gotcha. .That makes sense. It was soo banked on Greenhill Rd up that we went down the inside lane and short cut through the city and came out on
Bartels Rd near Prince Alfreds College. The car needs a tune now.It runs rich and is a pig in traffic and doesn't want to idle..lol so we took a
short cut.

Still tinkering on the beetle..just changed the rear tyres from a 175 to a 205/70/15 to give the car some more legs and not rev its titties out at
100kph..lol.Definately more of a Cal look now..

Unfortunately not..id have to move the kombi which has no motor at the moment and a flat tyre to get it out.When it goes for a dyno soon Ill have to
take some decent pics with my dslr and tripod.

Are you likely to bring it up to Modbury for Day of the Volkswagen?
We'd love to see you come up to Morgan for Dubs by the River in September too.

Thanks, I love my wifes little beast.
Unfortunately no DOTVW as the cars unregistered at the moment, needs to go to West Torrens Dyno for a tune / carb re-jet and a 13 week old baby girl
makes it even harder.lol.
Still tinkering on it as there's more that needs doing such as new carpet and seat re-trim in a fat biscuit style trim, sound deadening on the fire
wall inside, child anchors on luggage floor area for child seats. Hopefully its ready by next DOTVW to show it off. Heading up to Dubs by the river
would be sweet too..
I fitted the 205/70/15s on the back for just that reason.. hopefully it drop the revs down just that little bit to make it more comfortable on longer
trips as it runs the factory box with 4.11 gears still and I cant afford a Berg 5 speed conversion and to be honest Id like to stay original box
anyway.
Ill be at the DOTVW for a look though for sure..such a relaxed atmosphere and cool cars.
