RetroUsa head units - any opinions?

Hi guys,

I've been looking at these head units from the US - http://www.retrosoundusa.com/products/details/id/104.

I like the idea of having something a bit old-fashioned looking but with a few mod-cons. Also like the idea of not having to hack into the dashboard to fit some of these more modern units.

Anyone have any experience with these?

Yeah they're great. Have fitted several now and they're well made, easy to fit and use. Lots of choice in faceplate and knobs so you can match the vintage of the car.

I know in the older days (1997 ish) there was a problem with importing radios from teh US - the frequency range was different there from here. I take it the units from the US now cover our freq range without mods required?
