VW Bettle 1956 Battery

G'day, My mother has a really nice blue vw 1956 that is sitting in her shed for the past 5 years and never gets a run because the battery in is like 10 years old and never starts, and was wondering what the best place to go get a 6 Volt battery from is and if there is a special type that everyone seems to be using for the older cars.

Much appreciated

I use a deep cycle battery and a c tek trickle charger for my Ghia and the battery has been in there for over 2 years.
