wondering if anyone has any Ghia windscreen rubbers?
I was just wondering if any Karmann Ghia restorers had any rear or front unused windscreen rubbers left over from previous resto projects?
They both need to take the aluminum molds. The rear is for a 'C' mold and the Front is for the 'T' type mold.
I think the 'T' mold (for my front windscreen) is from the later (1967-1974) models? and the 'C' (for my rear windscreen) is from the original
earlier (1955-1967) models?
Just thought I'd ask before i purchase newies.
Cheers!

thanks Grogy, i think i saw your post a couple of weeks ago and gave the guy who replied to your thread a call. Think his name was Ash, but no luck.
I'm also trying to work out the difference in using the rubbers with the molded corners V's those without etc.
Cheers

Cip1 is good place to get em, i have spare c chrome, pay for the expensive rubbers as they are good (moulded corners) .... there are cheaper quality
ones that are complete crap..... and u will regret it. Just My 2c as i am going thru this process.
Let me know if you find cheaper rubbers.

Cheers empi, that's all i need to hear i think. I couldn't understand why the non-molded corner rubbers were so much cheaper, but if they're
noticeably crap i will definitely give them a miss... but will research it a little more. Grogy said he used them (non-molded) and they worked
perfectly =) I've bought every thing from cip so far but thought their price on 'C' shape molded windscreen rubbers was a bit of a joke...
considering their delivery fee is also exorbitant.
So far I'm liking these guys and am just waiting to hear back on a delivery price... prices looks the same no matter if it's the 'C' or the 'T'
shape.
