Drivers side door hinge

HI all

I am putting a new door on my beetle to replace the old rusty one before i spray it and i want to change the door hinge with the thread for the mirror on it. I assume its a pin that needs to be pressed or punched out ? or is there another way to change it?

dont punch it or you will loosen the rivets that hold the hinge on to the door

it has to be suported under it when its being removed

better off useing a clamp press
