Hey all. Has anyone got any L/100km for ej20T conversion in a T3 or bay kombi???

lol yeah i probably get around 15ltr+per 100km, mind you its got a jap spec ecu putting out just over 200rwkw runs nice and rich. Time for a PFC or
haltec i think.

Yeah wow, thats getting up there! Im wondering if a lower KW Forester ej20T would be better. Really keen on that engine but do alot of daily driving.
I could except 12L/100 but if its around 15L thats just nuts. I was reading another thread about a SVX T3 doing 19L/100km when towing a trailer, thats
alot of fuel on a interstate drive!

LOL I dont think so really, The TARE on my kombi is 1200, i know there are other kombi models lighter and slightly heavyier.
Im pretty sure a new commodore or ford falcon is around 1600KG+ and those are 4 door sedans 
Just use a N/A 2.5 and you will be happy!

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado SS, 6 litre, 345 hp.
It only uses 12 l/100 on the highway empty and 15.5 l/100 when towing car on trailer.
Fantastic tow car in real comfort.
Had it for 3 years, now for sale on carsales.com, just type in silverado ss in keywords to find it.

Well there's "tare" and then there's reality. I don't believe anyone in Oz is driving bay that weighs 1200kg. We all fill em up with crap!

Yeah I'm more talking t3 buses. I took mine on the weigh bridge when getting some firewood. Weighed around 1600kg. A lot heavier then a bay

i get around 7.7l per 100 in a bug.
so i recon about 11l per 100 in abus. depends on tyre size and gear ratios

gday mate
i have a EJ25 in a 76 bay and on the highway I got 12 litres per 100 on lpg, I didnt run it on petrol because the fuel pump is so annoyingly loud,
but I guess I would get better on petrol

+1 the kombi is stuff all compared even to modern small 4 cyl cars.
thats why a kombi hauls ass with a descent engine. with the right engine a kombi should be able to achieve sub 10L/100.
why not use a EZ30 or a comode 3.8? I hear those 2 get great economy even with the heavier bay bus. key is the low end torque and correct gearing
for economy.

Our bay Microbus has weighbridge 1280kg. With EJ22 NA engine it gets 9.8L/100km on the highway.
