KO 782
Here is where KO 782 was found
It was fixed up and put back on the road, and did a few offroad trips including Fraser Island...
It then changed hands a couple of times. And now has recently finished a full resto

Spoke with Terry tonight , who was the one who put it back on the road when it was still painted in Caprica ( Red ) and he is keen to see it again ,
as he did try buying it back at one stage but was very dissapointed of the condition that it had been reduced to for what some concider a rare VW
model

When shaun was selling it,was around the same time I was looking for a new baja. He refused to sell it to me because he knows how well the grinder and
I get along.
If things had turned out different it would be sporting coil overs!!! Hahahhah!

A superb resto example of a CB that made the owner very very happy.
Having the original rear seat was a great bonus as well.

Thanks guys for all your kind words, Bill called me today to say there was some chat about my CB. It was an enormous task, which I have to give great
thanks to Brett for weaving his magic with panel beating skills most of. us can only dream of. All done in my workshop in between a few other
projects. Had to stop from time to time to refocus and not go totally bonkers. Every square mm has been touched and focus was always originality,
which is where bill was a terrific help, and also having another one here to double check things. So about 1200 hours has gone into it and worth every
bit............I don't think I will do the other one like this, I think il move it along to make room for something different. This has turned into a
novel (sorry) thanks again you are all welcome to see it any time
Cheers

Hi Fraser, can you email some pics and KO number of your other one to vwnuts@live.com
Also, are you interested in parting with the hard top from KO782?
