Better coil for MSD 6AL ignition

Hi

The second MSD blaster coil has died on my sons car in about 3 years. The 1st just stopped working the 2nd developed a massive crack down the tower. Being a good dad I gave his Beetle a wash and the water arced out the the coil tower.

So I fitted my 40 year old Bosch GT40 and it was running again.

So my question is, what is good coil to use with a MSD 6AL ignition other than a MSD blaster?

If it is the Blaster 2 coil that died - I have one that I am not using

I thought I was having trouble with my Bosch on the Scorcher set up and we but it in instead.
Turned out it wasnt the coil so I went back to the Bosch

I can bring it to the Nationals or to Frasers?

MSD 8252 or 8253 might be a better choice for a 6 series ignition.
You running a digital 7 Dave?
