[WTB - NSW] Type 3 Or Registered Kombi - Sorted! Bought a bus
Hello everyone
As per my introduction post, i'm on the lookout for a type 3.
Not looking for a project, but looking for something that's already on the road and ready to be used as a daily.
A little bit of rust won't scare me away, but i'd rather it if it actually had floors.
My price range for a rego'd Type 3 is 5-6K.
I can pickup anywhere in sydney, or fly interstate and drive it back.
Feel free to PM me here, reply or email me at adamstuart.h@gmail.com
Cheers in advance, Adam.

Just thought i'd add to this and say i'm also interested in a Kombi.
Same budget as above though, so i'm not expecting a show winner. If I could get something with some rego for around 6K I would be happy.
Thanks again

Cheers Split
I had my eye on this one, being where it is though, i'm keeping my options open for something closer to Sydney

Also, never having owned an aircooled car, I have no idea what to look for.
I've read the buyers guide for Type 3's on TheSamba, but mechanical wise, I have no idea how to spot problems on these cars.
I only know they go dakdakdakdak

Also on the look out for a Kombi, around $6000
Something with rego would be great, if anyone knows of anything
Cheers!

I'm in Qld and possibly a little over your budget but my bus is registered and I'm looking to sell so I can get a beetle. Have used as daily drive
for the last year and almost no rust. Just thought I'd put it out there. Link below.

Hey Adam,
I looked at this last Thurs/Fri...
Give Leaha a call.
It's worth a serious look

Thanks Matty, that's a seriously neat looking unit.
That was next on the list to take a look at.
I ended up picking up a bus from brisvegas last night, so i'm all sorted for now in the VW department.
Thanks again to everyone who pointed me in the direction of great cars
Cheers Adam
