miss fire


ok i have a 1600tp vacuum advance standard carbie type 1 with a miss fire that gets worse at the bug gets hotter, keep her steady and not so bad but accelerate and away we dont goany ideas, just put in points plugs leads hmmm need help

ok solved due to sh#t parts


but now wont idle any ideas its a vacuum advance tp1600

Dirty idle jet. Takes 1 minute to remove and give a blow job to clear. My Mrs does it all the time.

Check for vac leaks

The fact it gets worse makes me think it has something to do with the choke / air fuel ratio

seems to rev ok but as you accelerate in 4th this is when it gets rough and in the last few days of cold there has been no problem.....
