Piston deck height; 1300 same as 1600?
Just need to know if piston deck height for 1300s is the same as for 1600s. Need to know the deck height for a 1300 and have some 1600 pistons.

If you mean the piston "pin height" measured from the centre of the pin to the top of the piston, then yes, they are the same, and so are the pin
diameters.

the term is called compression height

yes the deck height is standard for all VW engines well stock build ones that is
from memory I think its 0.060 inch I have used that many a time on rebuilds
from top of barrel when clamped into normal position to the top of piston of TDC
|
