kadron help
hey guys
got some conflicting issues with these kaddies its over fueling on the progression stroke some people are saying that the squirt is to hit the centre
of the butterfly and other are saying it should go to the edge of the venturi, the accelerator pump adjustment whats the right way to do the
adjustment ive had a look at mr kadron but you cant read half the text any help would be great p.s it idles great and top end is spot on if you can
lend me a hand it would be greatly appreciated

The acc. pump squirter should be aimed to shoot into hole that develops as the butterfly opens. Adjustment is so the squirter initiates at the
beginning of the throttle aplication. Once the pump adjustments are set, any off idle/low speed stumble is primarily due to linkage sync. The major
problem of Kaddies is the linkage. It does not grow with the motor as it changes temperature, unless you upgrade to a Berg linkage kit.
Good luck and have fun

Ps vacuum advance dissy helps a bunch too - if you have a 009 mechanical advance only they can develop flat spots just off idle that are very similar
to over fuel

It downloads and opens up in Adobe Reader fine for me on both my iPad and laptop.

ok, re-phrase that, it works but its an executable file, not a .pdf. And that makes some people nervous.
As for the accelerator pump function, theres 6 pages of good info on this samba thread http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=5584944
Mr Bugget web page is poorly structured but you can copy and paste the text onto a separate word document and read it properly. Essentially he is
showing how to set it for max accel pump squirt, and to reduce the squirt you wind the adjusting nut in against the spring pressure.

Back off the acc pump nut a bit and it should stop dripping. Or nozzle could be bent too far down into venturi, causing the air intake to suck fuel
out the nozzle.
