kombi gear rod bush

Hi all, I have a low light kombi (69) and the gearshift is a bit sloppy.
I have replaced the small round plastic bush that fits inside the front of the gear rod and the rectangle rubber/metal bush that sits in front of the gearbox. With the kit I bought there is another plastic bush that looks like a small badminton shuttlecock but I'm not sure where it fits.
Any help appreciated
Cheers
