Who machines barrels in SE-QLD? (for Deck Height revision)
Good evening AVD-ers,
I have a deck height of 4mm (0.157 inch), want to shave base of barrels to bring this down to 1.5mm (0.06inch) for squish/quench. Anyone a machinist
here or can refer / recommend a machine shop in SE-QLD?
I don't want to swap rods. already been balanced & assembled. Same goes for pistons, already balanced. (94 x 74, alum case, 5.4 rods). Should'a
got the 5.5 rods, i know i know!
Will then remove cc's from the heads by relieving around the bigger valves to balance comp rat. Currently with 4mm deck its at 7.6:1.
Thanks,
Chris.
