That's sweet as, thanks Alan & Bernie.... I can see already that I'm concentrating on the wrong areas, I will have the shiniest none runner in

I am defo after a Solex 30 pict 1 carb or I may rebuild this one....

If you have a 74 with elephant feet you should have a 1600
that said you "should" be after a 34 PICT 3 carb unless someone has fitted a 30 Pict
it will work - just runs out of puff.
Maybe even better in lower rev ranges

Ahhhh yes . It's not got the 1600 twin port, it has a single carb 1300cc motor....
