6 volt wiper conversion to 12

Has anybody fitted the 12 volt armature conversion to a 6 volt wiper motor. How successful was it.I have just fitted an armature to an SWF motor. It works, but seems to be running very fast and does not self park.Did they originally self park.I can't see any thing in it that would make it park.

No self parking in the Oval motor
you should get a 12v motor and arms from 68 to 70 model only a few mm wider just have to make holes slightly larger You have the phone number to get one from Sydney have to remake the arms to fit Talk to
