1968 Beetle Rear Seat/Luggage Retaining Strap Hook End
As I haven't had any offers from anyone to sell me one of these hooks from my classifieds advert, I decided to make my own. It is different to OEM as
it is hand made of stainless steel, there is a bolt rather than a rivet through the roller and I have used washers instead of plastic flanges at the
ends of the roller (as I don't have a small lathe to make a flanged roller). Long way from perfect but it will do the job once I get a new strap sewn
together.
Cheers
