WSID Summernationals Drags
BLOODY HELL IT WAS HOT OUT THERE TODAY
Well the Vintage Vee Dub Drag car is still in one piece after 2 runs today at Sydneys newest attraction WSID
We ran this moring about 10am and did a 11.7 at 113MPH then had to sit around in the HEAT all day long till about 5.00pm when we had the second run
12.1 at 114MPH.
Hopefully another 2 runs tomorrow and then the first round on Sunday morning
We pulled a Wheel stand on both runs with the 2nd wheel stand BEING a HUGE one as the track comentators called it.
Come along n say HI if your out at the track
Unfortunaly Rod Penrose had problems and wont be running after today.

Rods car had a engine problem on Friday after he ran a 9.24 on the previous Wednesday practice day. So he couldnt run.
Yes we were the only VW there but had a lot of support. Unfortunaltly we got knocked out in the first round due to a breakout running a 11.8
