Dear Peter, and fellow ratarians

After discovering the wonders of this forum I have to admit I have changed my ways. Initially I was lost in the shiny wilderness, overwhelmed by the choices available to vw owners. Paint it, modify it, restore it, make it go faster, make it grip the road better, even how to actually get a vw to steer properly and not leak oil.

Amazing information, astounding facts. After seeing so many shiny, well manicured vehicles I became somewhat dismayed, desperate to fit it yet somewhat pov and lazy. I realised after seeing so many dubs, how easy it could be to loose your car in a croud at a car show etc. I was worried as i feared I would have to give up my individuality, supress my creativity and pursue a life of cleanliness, safe driving and hailstorm monitoring.

Depressed and down late one night I stumbled across this forum. A wave of relief overcame me as I realised I am not alone... People who understand 'why'!

I thank you all for providing the light at the end of the tunnel I no longer worry about how shiny others cars are. I have been able to redirect this energy into my own creative thought process.

So far I have come up with a new use for the sump oil so readily discarded by mechanics everywhere..................I am also reasearching the effectiveness of sump oil combined with paintstripper to create a new and exciting chemical face peel. I think cosmetic sergeons globally may benefit from this new, cheap and effective product..... Thankyou all! :D

sump oil face packs

yes it works great, as any who've met me in person can attest. it's also far far less expensive than hiring a belt sander for the day and less painful (initially) than a blowtorch to remove fine lines and crow's feet. :) i saw it on late night telly, and the forty three easy payments are going just fine :D

let sleeping dubs lie
