Which mirrors will look cool?
Hey All,
I'm preparing to have my car completely resprayed/rebuilt in the german look style, but have yet to choose a pair of mirrors that won't look
out of place...
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Most of what i've looked at so far sticks out like .....
Cheers,
Ian.

Hi
Im using XA Ford ones on my car, early Falcon GT ones look cool, you can get alloy repos now.
If you want more detail on how I fitted them using the stock door mirror hole let me know.

Hey Steve,
My bug actually has XY GT mirrors at the moment. THey were ok, but you couldn't seek them throught the quarter vent window easily, and they are
too small. I think.
I wanted something a little wider to make them actually "usuable" if you catch my drift.
Part of the complete rebuild I'm doing is to tone down some of the more radical features of my car, and make it more friendly to drive, and
hopefully attract less police attention. It will still out accelerate a WRX though!!! I'm not giving that away for sure.
Thus far I am kind of torn between a carbon fiber M3 style mirrors, the 2001 honda integra mirrors, or the vilatoni mirrors. I'm thinking carbon
for the moment though They just look so COOL, and I already have quite a bit of carbon on the car now.
Keep the suggestions coming though. Muchly appreciated.

Hi Ian. I checked out your site, great car. I've got vitolini mirrors but they are smaller than the ford ones (I think). German lookers normally
have one piece glass so the quarter windows wouldn't get in the way anyway. If you go down the one piece glass route you could keep the mirrors
you have, although I miss being able to open the quarter window and get some air...

Hey Guys, thanks for the feedback about my website, and my car.
I only wish I lived in sydney or melbourne so that I could take it to some of the shows and some drag events!!
I'm still looking for some mirrors and have found some hopefulls at a jap parts shop. They look like BMW M3 mirros, and have an indercator bulb
in them also. Pretty high tech looking but also smooth and curvy.
I'm going to do a trial fit tomorrow.
Cheers,
Ian.
