wanted to respary fan housing but not sure of waht paint to use......

Get some spray cans of Enamel. any colour you like

You dont need heat proof if thats what yr thinking

Most just use spray cans of engine enamel...
or hammertone spray cans etc...

It doesn't get all that hot.... the paint won't blister etc...
If Your paint does blister etc... Your engine is running MUCH TOO HOT!!!

Hi

I use White Knight quick dry enamel. If the surface is a little daggy use satin black.

Make sure you have a clean and grease free surface to paint, otherwise the paint will lift.
