Suby EA82T info???
hey
i have a friend who wants to put in a EA20T into his 69/70 beetle. can someone put me onto where i would be able to get him onto places with these
engines and info about installation, radiator placement,intercooler placement, etc.
what modifactions should be done ????brakes etc? hes gonna run a 2L kombi box so needs info on installing that to a IRS pan and place to get adaptors
plates etc

all i can say is search around. there are not many sites out there. i can tell u of a couple of subi into kombi conversion sites tho if that is any
help

half cuts, engines and the rest...
firstly, good choise on the ej20T, my bug has a ea82T in it... if you're ever in sydney come check it out, it's all the same only your
engine will be bigger, and have a front mount.. alot of work has to go into the EJ20 conversion.. it's less hassles doing a conversion to a
EA82... you can use the stock gear box and don't have to cut much out of it... radiator placement is the same, but the ea82 don't need to
run an intercooler.. but one can obviously be fitted.
i also know a few place around sydney that import engines and the lke. let me know if you want em.

thanks yianni that would be good he definately wants to do it hes a panelbeater/spraypainter and has mates that can do wiring etc so just need to find
a good condition engine!

i am also thinking of a subi conversion but i dont want the WRX motor, i wanna use something like urself an ea82T.
