Kombi Gearbox dimensions


can anyone tell me what the internal diameter of a 2 litre kombi bell housing is??

ie. where the face of the bellhousing bolts to the engine, i need to know the diameter of the perfectly round surface of the inside of the bellhousing...

any help would be greatly appreciated.

some adapter plates you would just throw the kombi bell housiing in the bin ! .

It starts off about 282mm diameter, then after about 5mm(?) or so it reduces to about 278-279mm diameter.

Thanks for that wes.

i just wanted to know an approximate measurement so i could order my piece of plate to start making the adaptor b4 i get my gearbox next week.

i was going to make an adaptor but a guy on here has offered to sell me his (if he can find it!!) so fingers crossed that i dont have to make one...

seagull what do you mean by throwing out the kombi bellhousing?? what bellhousing would i use then?

and no im not in sydney im in Townsville, North Queensland.
